Art and Artistic Resistance for the Win
Visual art, music, comedy, acting and and a film that addresses the 2024 Presidential campaign, Kamala Harris and the convicted felon and adjudicated rapist Inmate Number P01135809.
After the three weeks I took to rest and regroup, I contracted Covid. I took my Paxlovid prescription, tested negative again, and returned to work only to experience Paxlovid/Covid rebound a few days later. The rebound has made me feel worse than when I texted positive for Covid on Labor Day. I feel crummy and exhausted. My lungs are clear but they hurt. They’ve been through hell since first contracting bacterial pneumonia in 2016.
Of course, I barely have energy to write my newsletter as I recover once again and prepare to return to my class today that I should have begun last week. For our newest post, I wanted to share some examples of art and artistic resistance I enjoy that focuses on the 2024 Presidential campaign, Kamala Harris and the convicted felon and adjudicated rapist Inmate Number P01135809.
