Independence Day?
The Irony of Celebrating 250 Years of the U.S. Constitutional Democratic Republic While Sweltering in the Swamp of a Stupid Theocracy-in-Waiting

Of course the song above from Team America: World Police is age-restricted. That is why it is perfect for the U.S. Republic's 250th birthday. If you don't mind profanity, I hope you will watch and enjoy it on YouTube.
Today my sparkler won't ignite. How can I celebrate the U.S.’s 250th birthday when each day we are losing and seeing the weakening of our Constitutional rights?
This is all because of mediocre and weak white men: a dementing malignant narcissist and nerdy, unrestrained broligarchs seeking revenge, power and destruction. All of their evil origin stories and current activities would be laughable in perhaps the multiverse's eighth dimension.
One had an evil, unethical, disbarred and closeted schyster mentor him and a sociopathic father enable him. One bullied a kid in school who fought back by pushing him down the stairs. One was rejected by a girl he wanted to date in college. One is an openly gay billionaire raised in an evangelical Christian household who fixates on the anti-Christ and believes Da Pope is a Chinese Communist. One has a penis rocket that shoots into space (a telling metaphor).
In a novel, their characters would be considered absurd. In our reality, they are considered terrifying.
Speaking of absurd, our dystopian existence includes Dump's failure of a bland, white-bread, Christian Nationalist and cremation-oven Great American State Fair. There are no cooling or misting tents, but at least an unsaved heathen attendee can get baptized in “David's Tent” and cool off as an added bonus.
Not much more to say about this stupid theocracy-in-waiting on the ironic 250th anniversary of the original 13 colonies severing their ties to a tyrannical and insane king. Thankfully, for our psychological salvation yesterday, The Onion released its PBS-style democracy America: Birth of a Nation.
I hope you enjoy it on this scorching Fourth of July. Stay cool in air conditioning, under the shade or in the baptism pool of David's Tent.
